Alex found out from 'The Harmonettes' that they have been told they will be available to start shooting at 2:30pm on January 23rd. We were expecting to have until 12:00 or 1:00pm at the latest and so this is good news for us especially as Megan is unable to make the shoot so we have one less able pair of hands to work with. We still need to find out what time we're starting as this will need to be stated clearly to all cast and crew members in the production log.
As we booked out four cameras and are using one of them for behind the scenes we have three cameras meaning we can shoot 3 different shots through one taking of the video. This is an advantage as we should be able to get a good variety of shots to choose from when Heidi edits later on and we will also be able to get these done quicker than having a single camera and facing either getting less shots done or taking longer. We want to ensure we're done in time so that the other group have enough time to shoot there's as if we run over it's unfair on them. In order to do this Alex (producer) should clearly state in the Production Log being made the exact times we need and should take for each task.
